Guest Post – Bully

Talk to your children about bullying, parents. Don’t assume your child is perfect, do not assume your child is not at fault. Consider that your child might be a victim, but also consider that your child may be a bully. Make sure that your child is neither, if they are either, act accordingly as a parent and address it with your child as well as the other adult authorities in your child’s life. Be active, attentive, and aware of your child’s situation, and don’t be afraid to teach your child how to handle themselves in the worst of situations.

Have your children experienced bullying? Have they been the bully? How did you address it? Did you find yourself in denial? Did you punish your child for being a bullying? For not standing up to one?
